Just discovered previous accident evidence...

This might be helpful to some of you.

I recently upgraded my headlights and grill to Euro spec and noticed my passenger side headlight mounting tab was a bit distorted. The closer I looked, I found more mangled metal behind the fender and a few rust spots from where the paint had cracked. Doesn't seem like any frame damage but it was definitely hit in the passenger front side before.

If you're not sure, you might want to check it. Also will update the buyer's guide post to look for this if this is an option before purchasing.

Very easy to do:
1. pop the hood
2. pry off 3 clips at the top of each grill that holds it on
3. remove 2 phillips screws from each side of the grill

Shouldn't take more than 5 minutes tops.

Usually you can see this by looking up into the wheel well or in the engine bay just ahead of the window resevoir. If it is not even showing that far back, then someone bumped something is about all.

I have a whole list of places to check that will be in there.

Yeah, it wasn't a big hit or anything but just something I was bummed out to find. Glad I found it before the snow hit as it got the Por-15 treatment already. :)
