Power sunroof conversion...
« on: February 04, 2011, 11:55:43 AM »
So I found a guy on ebay that all the parts required, the motor, the mounting plate, all hardware, everything, he says that he will pack it all together and I can get it for $110 shipped...is this a good deal or should I wait? It's not a pressing issue just a want, not a need...thanks all...

Sounds reasonable to me, I'd save up money for the little things that go wrong though. If you're done with the brakes, suspension & motor tweaks, I'd say go for it.

yeah, that sounds like a fair price. The JY is cheaper (if you´re lucky enough to find the parts in good working order), but you have to do all the taking apart yourself, as opposed to sitting in the porch waiting for the parts to arrive in the mail. What Dave said above still is a wise way of thinking too.
