I have read about a lot of guys accidently stripping out the bolt holes in the head, when tightening the valve cover bolts..
According to the trusty Bentley manual, the torque value for the valve cover bolts is 10 Nm, or (89 in-lb)
I was wondering how many of you guys use a torque wrench to ensure you were not over torquing those bolts?
i just ordered one of these.
https://www.all-spec.com/products/64-032.htmli already have a 5-50in/lb torque wrench, i am hoping to not over torque any of the small bolts that go into the head, as i re-assemble the motor again.
Thanks guys.
