wtb: complete m42/trans/etc etc
« on: January 04, 2011, 04:59:55 PM »
I am on the search for a complete running m42 and trans from a 91 318.  Closer to MI the better or if you are willing to ship.

I need it to be as complete as possible.  engine, trans, shift linkage, trans cross member, motor mounts, radiator, driveshaft, wiring, etc etc

PM me what you have...  I am not in a huge hurry to buy so if you have it in a car and are planning a swap I can wait until the spring/early summer.

thanks

You could always buy a complete write off car and remove everything that you need at your own pace, then weigh in the car for scrap metal. I've recently helped my neighbour drain several gallons of petrol out of the tank first & then towed his Renault Laguna to the scrap metal merchants and got £183 for it and got to keep the wheels, which will be sold seperately :)

I've got a good running/driving E30 for sale...   I'm considering parting it, but I'd rather sell it whole (at a reasonable price) than go through the time and effort.
