damn that sucks. well i wouldnt drop it if it didnt have rust. besides dropping it is there anyway i can clean it out? lol thats somewhat of a stupid question. well even if i drop the tank do you know of any methods of cleaning it?
and no it doeasnt buzz when the car is on only when i hook it up to a different neg. and pos. lead.  which makes me think that there is a problem with the grounding of the connector or something. otherwise idk what it would be besides the relay or fuse.

i have a bmw e30 318i 1991 i replaced the airflow hose at the weekend after doing so i went to start my car and it just cranked over very strongly but will not fire up please help as i depend on my car as i am disabled Eric

Now that's a thread back from the dead.  BTW, if the original poster ever comes back to check, I'm 99% sure it's your crank position sensor.

maggieEric, you'll have to make sure all the vac hoses are tight.  Big vacuum leaks can prevent the engine from starting.  Which hose are you talking about, the main hose from the air cleaner to the throttle body?
