Alrighty guys, I'll post up a GB thread as soon as I talk to the printers, I work in the morning but should have time to go there after work.  I'll see about hoodies also.

Just a heads up though, we will design new shirts every year to raise $ for the site!!

I can change the color to whatever. That was just a few minutes work.

I think we should have a couple designs available, THEN change them every year. It's hard to make everyone happy with just one. Hoodies and Ts sounds good to me. As for colors, idk. Just my 2 cents. I'm a n00b so, whatever you guys wanna do.

I like those designs soccerjoe. One of the probs with multiple designs is the cost will go up dramatically :(
The larger # of one shirt design we order, the cheaper it will be.

That's understandable. Maybe after the first batch we can afford multiple designs. It was just a thought.

Oh, and I noticed another thread in the Suggestions area on the same topic. Maybe a merge is in order?

I'm liking those designs created by soccerjoe. We should get some estimates for the designs that have been created and go from there. asu, maybe you could contact LedJetta for a quote, just a thought.

thanks for the lead Eurospec, if the locals don't work out I'll try that.

Please go to the new thread for info on buying the shirts. The info will be updated tommorro w/ specifics.

This thread will be stay opened to discuss the shirt so that the FS thread stays clean ;)

I think if we wanna be fair to everyone, instead of just selecting the design, we should make a poll of three or four to choose from. like what was said in the suggestions thread, we should make a poll and decide that way. I know I am new to this forum and haven't contributed anything so far, but i am still a member of this club and i think everyone should have a say in what the club t shirts look like. Still this is just my opinion but i think there at least a few people who agree with me.

I can understand that, everyone liked the design so far and we are trying to get them out by early dec.  If we wait then they prob won't get out this year.  It can take up to 2 weeks to make the shirts, and it prob will take that long due to the season.

Next year we can start a thread earlier and there will be plenty of time for everyone to design and select their fav's.  But for this year, the final design is in the sticky thread.

...and lived through it, I can relate to both sides.  Important "thang" is to cut through the " analysis paralysis" and get the product out.  Once Stage 1 hits the streets there will be more  interest and anticipation to Stage 2.

When we have the "norm" established then, the next run is easier.  joe, I like your designs, and no, you do not even come close to sounding like an ass.  Trust me, I put up with them everyday to get mod money for my 318is.  ASU is moving forward with the first year production.  I, like you, appreciate his design and efforts.

I propose next year in September we form up, design comp and deadline vote.  In the meantime I gotta get some Christmas T's.  My family will love the design and the 100% cotton.

lol your fine.  We are just trying to get them out and everyone seemed to like the design so I'm trying to keep it rolling.  But I really do like some of your designs, the only thing I would change is to keep the font for M42 the same as the site's font.  But its not a big deal ;)

And yeah maybe Sept would be good to start next year.  I think maybe a month or so of designing.  Then a few weeks to discuss and vote, then print :D
