new toy 91 318is with 71k miles
« on: June 30, 2010, 08:09:11 PM »
I finally found a low mileage small bumper e30is with cloth Recaros.
The car is like new aside from some minor surface scratches in the clear coat.
The interior is perfect and shows 0 wear.
Engine bay is spotless
Can't find a single ding anywhere
Garage kept all its life
Full maintenance history and log (a must for all my BMW's)
One owner
Silver on light gray

the bad
two of the wheel caps are faded

Anyway glad to be here

Ordered HK coil overs
Have a set of 16: black basket Rikens with a 3 in polished lip wrapped with 205 40 16s  should look nice.

Ordered an Eaton Supercharger and peripherals

Pics when I have it done

I'm OCD so I have trouble tasking pics until it is right in my eyes.
You could look at a brochure on one with the same color combo and thats what it looks like aside from the two faded center caps.

Let's get the man some wheel caps so he can post some pics!
Do you mind me asking what you paid? I would love to find one in the condition you described. Incredible find.

heres the kicker    $800   titled it today and blasted it through its paces. It reminds me a lot of my 76 2002 with recaros and a built engine. In fact I may end up driving this more than my e30 M3 .
scratched charger and HK's
ordered
4.45 gears lsd
chip header and street sprint exhaust
325 alloy flywheel
325 clutch and some other needed small parts and hardware
KN filter Plan to fabricate cold air section out of extruded alloy
bav auto springs with Bils sports
ordered all that today will put all that on slap on some rims then some pics.
Sold one of my 750il's today car was perfect with only 107k on the clock little sad but I have 12 other close to perfect BMW's so I'll sleep Ok. hnehehehe

Oh. My. God. 800!?!?!??!

I'll buy your m3 if you really don't think you'll be using it.

I wish I had your herd. Kudos, and it sounds like you treat them all like royalty, so thanks for preserving them.  Can't wait for pics.
