Do you know if BMW sells a gasket or weather stripping for rear spoilers? My bare mtech wing left a bunch of gunk and I'd like to prevent this from happening in the future, especially now that I've treated the area under where it sits.
I've never bother finding out but know exactly what you mean. My used spoiler came with double sided 3m autobody tape but I stripped that all off and just used a bead of silicone to prevent that. Silicone comes off a lot easier than the 3m tape should I ever need to remove it.
On a semi-related note, I just got my rears tinted and the tint idiot began to push my car from the rear spoiler. You should've seen my face. It seemed like it held up pretty good though. I was just worried since the spoiler is made out of foam and didn't want to tear any of the mounting points.
