As stated, the jap wires dont fit the coils, or the plugs.  VW 16V may fit.  The coil pins need to be the small pin style.

Actually, I thought the same thing, but decided to gamble with the civic wires and it fires up the car fine.

little off topic but I will be using Hyundai accent 2003 1.6L MAFs for my AFM to MAF conversion chip ;)
