OK! So finally got the transmission out. Boy that was tough, especially on jackstands. Not a single bolt/nut came off easy.

So before I put my new transmission in, I was wondering if you could look at some pictures and give me some advice? I know this is a great time to replace some seals.

Here's the back of my engine with the flywheel in place. I don't see any oil around here, is it safe to move on without replacing the rear main seal?

Here are pictures of the front and back of the transmission. There's dry oil all over it, any way to tell if the seals have already been replaced since the oil leaks? Of course I'd only like to replace seals that are IMPERATIVE for now, I assume I'll probably have the tranny back out in another 10k or so to install a lightweight flywheel. What would you do in my place?

Luckily the transmission came with a guido that looks like it's in excellent shape!

I think the transmission has been in storage for a while as the guy I bought it from had bought it for his car but never installed it.

Anyways, as usual thanks for all of the advice!
