Rear shock mounts
« on: April 07, 2010, 03:20:49 AM »
Hey everyone, it´s come time to replace the rear shocks and springs. While looking around i´ve seen that it is recommended upgrading the rear shock mounts to those of the E46 M3  (Part Number 33-52-6-754-096)

The thing is that nothing shows up with that part number...the only ones available for the E46 M3 are these (33-52-6-779-670).  Has BMW changed the part ?

Those are good ones to upgrade with.  Personally, I say go with billet aluminum / poly ones.  They have replaceable bushings & will last forever for only a tiny bit more than the M3 ones.

Those would be the best option, unfortunately i´m living in Spain currently and the shipping and import duties would end up costing me twice what i paid for the part.  Sometimes i miss living in North America :(
I just ordered the stock E46 M3 mount...should be good enough.

Thanks for the info!
