Hey guys, I have a new problem.
The car starts fine, with no throttle the car dies. To keep the car running I have to hold the gas pedal.
What could be the problem?

Was your old problem with the ICV?

no, it was alternator.
does anyone have an ICV Diy?

It's just a r&r, mine doesn't even have hose clamps. Check the hoses, they have a habit of cracking underneath.

You can pull & test the ICV with a 9v battery to the terminals, or see if it's humming when the car is idling.

Take it out ,put 12 volts to the terminals and look inside to see if the little door opens and closes when you put power to it and take the power away.
You can put your hand on it while its still on the car and when someone turns the key on it should hum,clicking or you could feel the door working.
If no hum then take it off do the above test. If the door doesn't move when you put 12 volts to it then it needs to be replaced , If it does move but moves slowly or erratically then clean.

Squirt inside by the door with brake cleaner really well and then put the power to it again to see if it works better.It should snap closed if working correctly.If you get it cleaned and it works well then before you install it back in your car squirt the inside (by the little door) with wd 40 or equivalent lubricant.
Install and hopefully it solves your idle issue.If not at least you eliminated the icv.
