I'm a '73 2002 owner that just bought a 1991 318i 4D because I'm intrigued by the M42 power plant combined with E30 packaging. It was a 3 hour drive home from the point of sale and I must say that the M42/E30 combo is the real original BMW deal. Light, inexpensive, and FUN. My first move is going to be replacing the stock steel wheels/hubcaps with the new D Force 15"x7" five spokes with 205/50/15's. Anyway, looking forward to getting in touch with some of you.
