depends on the suspension... all you really need is the 325is suspension and it will handle just like the 325 with the billy upgrade it handles just as good as the stock acctually better! and its a lot of fun!

Which of those motors are the fastest? Im looking to have low weight but a quik motor I have a little 4cylinder... there's just not enough getup and go.
In th future i plan on replacing some of the body pannels with carbon fiber hood and trunk. and any other i can find. i plan on machining the fly wheel.
i dont really want to take out the seats in the back or anything.

ha did you know they make carbon fiber rims?
ha 12g for the set

I just want a light weight car thats quick and can drift if i wanted to.

But i plan on getting the engine donor car from a wreck auction.

Which salvage auctions are you going to hit?  They have a Salvage Direct yard over here in Adamsburg, PA but it's dealer only.

Sorry for my ignorance, what is DASC?

Downing Atlanta SuperCharger.  $4500 for 60hp, reliable & well-engineered.  More importantly it keeps the weight down.  I'll bet it's lighter than most turbo installs.  I'll bet a new pulley would help with the gain, but you'd need more engine work.  I personally think a turbo is more fun, but installing a DASC is an afternoon job.  The e36 version occasionally turns up on EBay or CL too.
