will they fit or no? ive got a perfect pair of or leather recarro sports from a e21 320i.

I would take out the E30 seats, a) trace the E30 seatmount/sliders on a piece of cardboard/oaktag/whatever and then trace the pattern.  Then place E21 seats on said pattern, see how close they are AND/OR  b) with the E30 seats out of the vehicle, place the E21 seats to see how they fit.

Yes they will fit. they will sit lower than the e30 seats. Maybe too much lower? 2002 people really like them.
