I'm the guy nuvolarossa is taking about. You can email me or call me at 305 742-8559.

I do not work for MM but do a lot of free testing for them. I'm currently testing the Hybusa's Drag Bike springs good for 15,000rpm in a M44 with a GT30/70 A/R turbo:D

I have had decent results with the Beehive springs at 25psi at 8,000rpm but this was a M44 so different springs then the M42

When you say "Turbo Cams" did you replace both cams? normally you would want a stock exhaust cam in there and only change the intake. Also what did you set the valve lift off seat on #4 when when it was in overlap TDC (Degreeing the cam)

Well there is a rare name! Welcome aboard :)

Any advice about cam timing? I have set of 256 degree Shrick copy regrinds (256 degrees and 10,4 mm lift) that I installed to my engine using same timing as stock cams ie. locked the flywheel to TDC and then put cams to same position as stock cams would be.

This was otherwise fine but engine lacked really low end torque, it would sometimes stall while idling. I think cam timing was the problem as longer duration cams had more overlap, maybe too much.

I tried advancing the intake cam but by mistake and inexperience way, way too much and engine ran like diesel. After I swapped back stock cams everything was normal again. Soon I will put the shrick copies back again (had to pass emission tests... sometime ago)

Any suggestions how many crank degrees I should adjust the schrick copies to get better idle quality?
