Haha thought that title was fitting!
I have owned a 95 318is, 95 318ti, and am now on my 2nd 91 318is....I guess I just love the M42 and hate the M44 (haha more like I don't buy OBD2 cars).

Some of you may know me as "RidingSimple" from 318ti.org and bimmerforums.com

I bought a nicely modded example a few days back from a local Hawaii BMW enthusiast.

1991 318is
DiamondSchwartz exterior
Black Vinyl interior (mint)
Non Sunroof! (best thing about the 91 318s other than the factory shadowline trim!)
odometer currently working at 52K, previous owner bought it stuck at 48K, it's a safe bet the car is under 100K though.  It drives 10X nicer than my 180K red 91 did.
All new suspension parts (Billy sports, Lowtec springs, control arms with M3 offset bushings, rsms, fsms, etc)
Z3 1.9 steering rack with new tie rods
15x8 Sportmaxx with 205.50 sumis (not my choice, but for knock offs, they do look good).  I will most likely be putting on some BBS soon though.
Smoked Hella Ellipsoid Smilies with 55W, 6000K HID kit
Smoked front turn signals
Euro grills

-Power steering is leaking (when they did the Z3 rack upgrade, they didn't replace the reservoir or lines, and they are sopping wet now, so I ordered that trick aluminum block off plate and will complete it next week).

-Shadow black front grills
-Radio delete panel
-EXTENSIVE detailing! (I am OCD)

I will post a few pics the previous owner took, the clip on rear wing is off already and I debadged it, but the trunk lid has marks from both, so I will be having it resprayed soon.

I will update it with some quality pics when I finish the detail, black grills, and Euro trim.

What part of Honolulu?  My dad was stationed in HI for 8 years at Hickam a long time ago (before retiring) so grew up there.

that is stupid clean, but if i may just say one thing...clean the chrome grills!!!!!!!!!

i also have a dshwarz with smoked headlights and mhw rears...but the chrome grill stays! it needs a bit of contrast up front.
