Definitely an M42 in there.  The page is titles 1.6L, but in the 2nd paragraph it asys it is a 318iS with a 1.8L.  Maybe 1.6L is the class it runs with or something, or a sub-2.0L class?  Looking at the timing case, it is definitely an M42.  Looks like it got an S42 intake manifold or something.
