Just wondering how many of you have modified the black plastic driver's side headlight bezel so that the opening for the cold air intake is actually larger than what it was as molded from the factory?

If this is opened up more, it should improve the air intake as the vehicle is moving, correct?

i removed it all. i guess it only serves as an anti-road-dust, and keeps the engine bay cleaner. i dont think its a noticeable difference though

I also simply removed it all. I suppose it should protect the filter from excess road grime and water that could enter if open, but my filter is fine. I ran a piece of plastic pipe that I think I found off an old shop vac that fit exactly in the hole of the air box, I doubt it did anything but it makes me think it sounds better. Vacuum powah.
