Fuel pump flow rate

Does anyone know the flow rate of the standard 318is fuel pump, I'm wondering if I can use it to deliver to the fuel rail on my MG B GT V8?

According to the bentley manual the rate is .875 liters or .93 quarts for 30 seconds at 12 volts for the m42.
