Hey new here names jeff from akron ohio (find me on bimmerforums under akron bimmer) anyway i have a 1994 e36 318is 5-speed that currently has been lowered has 17 inch rims full m3 body kit clears etc. (like every other e36 on bf.c right). anyway i want to do a top mount turbo setup for it. what all to i need to do this any and all info would help thanks

well i track/auto-x the car so ive already upgraded the brakes

Can you be more specific as to what you wan't gain in HP? Budget? stock internals?

budget & stock internals i dont need to be to crazy no 500 hp or what not. i figured youd be the first to respond im actually looking at doing what your doing bearsbmw so any info you got would be great! trying to get in 200-210 somewhere in there

Well I know top mount is more expensive and will add alot more custom work to the whole setup so if your on a budget I would suggest low mounting ... I got most of my parts from ebay and plumbing stores... I used a t3/t4 hybrid turbo ... stock injectors with a FMU and 8psi for about 185whp...unfortanly there is not alot I can do from here in the way of helping as it's all custom fab that is needed to make this project work

ok ive been looking on ebay like you said and theres a lot of turbo kits, intercoolers, piping etc. but there all for the m50-52/s50-52. now i know a lot of guys on here when going turbo use a 6-cylinder manifold and just cut the last two plenums off. so what im asking is could i use the same tubing and what not as the six cylinders but with a modified manifold?
