Driveline shuddering...
« on: November 07, 2008, 05:29:32 PM »
Hey Ive noticed in the last little bit while crawling in traffic, or pulling out of a street, sometimes i get some shuddering in the driveline, starting with higher revs usually nulls it.  Only ever in first gear this happends.  Maybe the clutch slipping? Differential or driveline messed up?  First RWD car so im pretty unfamiliar with the driveshaft/rear diff things...
TIA

Check the condition of the large rubber bushing at the top of the differential cover.

Wouldn't the center support bearing cause this as well?
