Somebody please tell me that its possible. I have a wrecked '90 325i that I had a H&R Cup kit on I now have a '91 318is that I'm goin to tryin swap everything onto. But yesterday while changing the diff and engine oil I noticed that the front struts are different. Can it be done?
'90 325i
H&R Cup Kit
New OEM control arms w/ m3 bushings
New front strut tower mounts
New Aluminum rear shock tower mounts
Supension Technique front and rear anti-roll bars

'91 318is
All OG
Just about every bushing wore out
Goes into corners like a 60's cadilac
POS Aftermarket Glass Sunroof
""""DiamondSchwarz""""

Soon to be purchased new subframe mounts new rear trailing arm mounts and toe/camber adjuster

Different how? The only struts that should be different are the early M10-powered 318s and the M3s.

The Front struts are exactly the same, the only thing driveline wise between the two is the m20 has a medium cased diff, and the m42 has a small cased. You should be able to switch everything between the two. Oh and why is your sunroof a pos? Does it not work? Take Pictures of the sunroof because I have one thats aftermarket.

Yup sorry about that i know to admit when im wrong aka a dumbass. Just finished the suspension swap. Everything went smoothly. As far as the medium and small cases are concerned is there a difference in the axles? I wish my 325i had lsd cause i wanna get rid of my 4.10. Anyways thanks for the replys.
