I know I have an E36, but still....

I love my flywheel, an 11.5# UUC Flywheel with E34M5 clutch and E36M3 pressure plate.

It makes quite a bit of noise (rattles at idle; worse with a/c on), and makes some noise when you are coasting with the clutch engaged.

But it revs so much better, and just feels so right. lose that heavy dual mass junk, and get a single mass lightweight! One of the best mods you can do.

I love the aluminum flywheel in my E30.  Except when decelerating in gear.. it doesn't dampen any vibration/noise like the stock unit, so you get some fairly loud noises.  It'll be more liveable when I have a better radio, and an exhaust  :D

Sounds like a decent price.  How does a 9lb flywheel effect the idle (stock vs w/ chip)?

I'm selling my 9lb flywheel I hate the noise's it makes at 2500 - 3500 RPMs.  But it does rev up really quick compared to the heavy stock unit.  Who wants to buy it?

Constant rattle on deceleration between 3500 – 2500 rpms, and rattles with the A/C  on.
