Another BMW to the stable...

As of 7pm yestereday, I now have a signed and deposit on a 2008 BMW 135i, Sapphire Black Metallic / Coral Red Leather for European Delivery this coming Labor Day.

I'm beyond EXCITED right now.

I wanted to get my order in before allocations ran out. I was able to haggle a $1k over European Delivery invoice as well!

Well I will tell you the car is an absolute BLAST to drive. I got to take the car out 4 times before I placed my order. I did a highway stint and some fast curves near Woodcliff Lake, NJ and the car handles incredibly well. I drove both the steptronic w/paddle shifters and 6spd manual and despite how quick the car is, steptronic is absolutely dull. I had a hell of a time getting used to up and downshifting with it. When I got into the manual model, I swear I haven't been in anything faster short of a Z06 corvette.

Here's a pic of me in the demo model from last night. The mud in the wheel wells is from their storage log (unpaved) i'm sure the lot attendant dude was having some fun in it prior to that pic.
