WOW very cool. Is the MAF meter part of the kit? Is the round thing attached to the airbox bracket an the LPG mixer? Does it only run LPG or do you switch between gasoline and LPG?

thanks! it wasn't a kit, I fabricated the plenum myself from fibreglass. I used a MAF to try with megasquirt, but in the end I went for MAP, which Im using now. And yeah you're right it is an LPG vaporisor - the car runs both petrol and LPG, the LPG kit is a sequential Romano system. It makes about 5-10hp less on LPG, and is down on power/torque a bit mroe than this at low rpm on LPG. It costs around half as much as it would on petrol though, so I use LPG most of the time.

Excellent info. Thanks! The small price difference between propane (LPG) and gasoline doesn't really justify this kind of conversion here although many large fleets like city buses, taxis and the local utility use CNG. The problem with CNG is that it has to be stored at much higher pressure and requires a larger volume for the same energy content. Still a tempting option for its very high octane and low cost.
Looks like someone has already tried this plastic M50 manifold idea and it won't work on our engine. Theres an old thread about it from last year that I can't find at the moment. Too bad.
