Can i use a 325is suspension setup?

hi guys,

i lurked around the site a few times before but now its official.  I'm looking to do the suspension on my 91 318is and i found an H&R race spring and billy sport shock setup.  I believe the setup is for a 325is tho.  now im pretty sure it'll work on my 318 no problem., but i just want to double check myself before i buy this etup and left with parts i can't use.  so the question really is: can u use a 325is suspension setup on a 318is???  what are the differences besides spring rate?

I think your ride height will be a bit higher because our cars our lighter.

I am making an educated guess that the H&R race springs are in fact the same for both the 318iS and the 325is...

you will have no problemo, and the car will handle *very* well...

sweet, i thought the same too.  im 99% positive the part numbers are the same.  thanks for the repsonses guys
