first of all i´m new in this forum i´m from germany and have a e36 m42 bj. 95 and i must say u guys really rock!!! hardly anybody in the german forums knows so much about the m42 engine!
i have read a lot about getting some hp out of the m42 and also made a few mods on mine.
i really love the character of the engine so i dont want to sell the car but i would like to have a little more hp. about 180-190 with a slightly higher displacement around 1,9-2,0 liter.
now i´m interessted in what u would suggest are the best ways to do that.
turbo or supercharger are no option i like the n/a engine character.
by the way the mods already made are: supersprint exhaust pipe, lighter flywheel, other gasoline preasure regulator and a rally chip which sets the engine speed limiter to 7500rpm but till now i just let the engine rotate to 7000 at max.
