Did I hit the R I C E meter??
« on: June 20, 2007, 05:09:18 PM »
After seeing  an e30 with CREAM colored gauges I wanted  to change mine.  By the time I got to it  (Lockwood-UK) which makes  the dials  stopped making cream... So I went for white. What do you  think? Tripometer is actuall mileage on new  engine..

Also, the carbon and gauges make it a bit much in my opinion.
Looks busy.

I'm not a big fan of white gauges, but that is just my preference. Also, the stylized numbers don't go well with the overall boxiness of the rest of the car, IHMO. I'm thinking about getting some chrome rings for mine, still undecided on the carbon fiber. Where did you buy this?

OK, so maybe I'm in the minority, but IMHO..

You not only hit the rice meter, you beat it into submission.

Got neon?

:D

Looks nice, just not my style.

Dang, I thought my car had a lot of miles (200k). How many times have you replaced the timing tensioner? ;)

Picked up the car last year  and had a complete rebuild. Teflon coated bearings, custom oil baffle, advanced intake cam. Came with Dinan chip, Supersprint cat back. Redoing interior, roof and carpet. restufferd drivers seat with new covers. Then suspesion ( GC coilovers) and  then I paint it and Track it once or twice a year. Probable won't finish until next year. It's all fun..
