E36 M3 cat back

i have been wanting to do something with my exhaust for a while. i want to do dual pipes all the way out without converters (like the e30 M3), but i want it to be decently quiet. i found a stock m3 rear section for cheap and was wondering how similar the routing is? i would like to know what people think of this, and also if this would eliminate the tinny sound? any help would be greatly appreciated.
