Camshaft Position Sensor and ignition tables

im runing my m42 with a m44 wiring and ecu i have a problem with my camshaft postition sensor there are differences for the 2 engines m42 sensor reads from exsuast cam an m44 reads from intake cam with a special disk and it looks like E46's sensor i need a solution for this one im thinking to swap the m44 timing cover cam gear impulse disk and sensor can be work ? any ideas?

i think is gone work but i need some imformation about m42 and m44 cams and characteristics just to know if is similar timing

if it is and uper chain case fits in m42 head its just the solution of my problem

yeah i've done this before. fit m44 cover, sensor, cam gears with the m42 head and cam and all will work fine.

2.1 200bhp, 175ft/lbs 318is
E46 330ci daily
