It doesn't bleed. I'm using a Motive power bleeder @ 10 psi and it isn't pushing any fluid to the slave cylinder. I've even tried hand pumping/priming the master cylinder (from the clutch pedal) and I get nothing.

My slave was bad and replaced it with a used one from the junk yard that was working perfectly (looked almost brand new).

i couldnt bleed mine either, even when removing the bleed screw. I bought a new one but ended up using a e36 one for my tranny. I can ship you the e30 one in a week or 2 for like 30 shipped

Id been driving mine since i got the car and i was bleeding the brakes and thought id check and see if there were bubbles in the line. No fluid would come out even when i took off the screw and jamed the pedal in.

I only have one slave that i can sell. It was installed on the car but never used since i switched trannies during the rebuild process and needed the e36 slave. I can ship the e30 one in about a week if you want it

Phil,

I just read up on bench bleeding and another technic by which you connect the host, flip the slave upside down and push the plunger in with the bleed nipple open thereby expelling the air and filling it with fluid. I will try that as soon as I get home.

I went the easy route and just ended up using the MityVac. It worked really good and bled the clutch slave right away. $25 to do it under 5 minutes is worth it instead of trying for hours and not getting anywhere imo.

Well I got it bleed. I pulled it off and took it apart and found a small piece of dirt blocking the bleed exit. After that I attached the hose and fliped it up side down so that the nipple was the highest point and all the air left very easily. The trick after that is to leave the nipple open and push the plunger in all the way then close the bleed valve. Makes it alot easier to install.
