help press oil 0
« on: May 26, 2022, 04:20:25 PM »
Good friends how are you. I have an e36 coupe stock m42 engine

He was doing service, lease oil change, carter cleaning, maraca and filter. the carter, the portafilter and the maraca or davit were disarmed. Everything was cleaned and put together perfectly. Now the oil pressure is 0. The pump was primed by placing oil through the filter holder and it still has oil pressure at 0 zero. I wanted to know what could be this problem. The bomb was not touched nor was the bomb disarmed.

I hope your prompt help happy day friends :-X :-\

Do you believe that the oil pressure is 0 because the oil light is illuminated? If so, check that the connector for the oil pressure switch + wire inside the rubber cover on the connector are not damaged. The pressure switch is installed in the back of the oil filter housing. Maybe the wire got pulled on and broken?

If the engine makes a lot of noise, like there is no oil going into the cylinder head, then that is a big problem. It is a little hard to understand what you are describing in your post, but it sounds like this was just a normal oil change? Could anything have been dropped into the center hole inside of the filter housing when it was open? The center hole is where clean oil goes into the engine.
