OBX Turbo Manifold Header
« on: August 20, 2009, 02:47:14 AM »
I've been seeing it on ebay constantly but I've never think I gonna turbo my car. However, since, I've read more of your guys' here for awhile, I just curious when caming across on it again today http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OBX-Turbo-Manifold-Header-92-98-BMW-E36-318i-318is_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem56341dc245QQitemZ370241552965QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

Has anyone installed it yet? I havn't seen it actually does install in any m42 motor at all.

Thanks in advance

George

Looks good, and plug and play, much better than having to modify a M50 mani and add a wastegate outlet and make your own down pipe, I think for $400 you get a good deal. just my opinion

I'm sure it does, the only thing is that it might be for a bottom mount and not top mount. But either way it should work fine. I'd send an email to the seller, he should know.
The only potential problem is the clearance in the engine bay, but I think there is less room in the e36 than in the e30 bay. Don't take my words on this though :)

I have bought the obx header set from ebay. It's a good quality and has wat you need, the gaskets and down pipe. its nice and if you compare it to the fancy german made one its the same thing.  Just an fyi  if you call up the guys and order it through paypal and not through ebay. you can get them to sell it to you for 400 shipped. if they don't have to pay the expences they are easier on you.

if someone needs a manifold in europe, I'm selling my neukin bullet proof manifold.
I sell every other parts to build the turbo. I removed it cause I need to move to another location and I'm thinking to sell the car cause I'll be doing a lot of km daily :(

if there are interested I will list every part I sell on a for sale thread.
really need to sold them, as theparts are in my room inside a package and I'll will not use them anymore for what I wrote above... I have PC3 with maf, bigger injectors, oil pump, oil lines, T3 .60 trim turbo fully spooled at 2800rpm, neukin manifold with t3 flange, modded internal wg to fit, vdo boost gauge, innovate wideband LC-1 with LMA-3 module too to datalog, catch can, M42 intake manifold to use standard injectors if you have the m44 engine and a lot more... (even cat from M3 3.2 and backbox from M3 GT if you want to use those with the turbo, for stealthness).
all quality parts, not no-name shitty parts.
thank you.
