Back story: my daily 318is’ timing tensioner failed last week. Timing is completely off and sounds like a valve is bent. Not taking it apart right now as I need my car, I don’t have a backup to drive in the meantime. Looking for another m42 I can drop in and maybe taking the spring to rebuild this one. Let me know what you have!
