Stainless steel brake lines in!

Those inner rear lines are a pita w/o dropping the sub-frame.  I ended up fabbing some custom line and box wrenches to do the job, fairly Frakenstein.  Tools available upon request  :D  I still don't see why those lines were engineered that way. I'm sure there's some scientific reason, but the practicality of them is way off.

Crows foot would have done it for sure.  Problem was that I was working at my buddies garage that has a ton of tools and a heated garage.  He's a stoner type though, so we had to clean up his garage and run out to get propane, etc... before we started.  We got a real late start and did the front first.  The Bentley doesn't really have a detailed diagram, so it was sort of a wait untill we get back there type of thing to see how those inner rears fit in.  By the time we got back there, it was too late to run out to buy the crows foot I needed =/

Anyways, I made a modified crows foot using a 14 line wrench, with a handle made from a bolt to turn it lower down from the subframe.  I also made a super long 11 with a box on one end, line on the other.  That was the key one because it made installing go smoothly as well.  All in all, it was a pretty big job.  New rotors, pads, lines!

Alpine003:  The last 2 lines are soft lines inbetween two hardlines that run to the calipers.  The front most connections to the hardlines are way up there, the right side being much harder to get to then the left.

I'll take some pics of the tools and post them up if you'd like.  I probably wouldn't get to them till this weekend b/c I just left them over at my buddies.  I did have my camera and flash with me, but I only shot the first wheel we did with the rotor and line on.  After that, I was too filthy to work my camera even with my gloves on.  I brought my Nikon, probably should have brought my point and shoot for a brake job heh.

I stopped by Alpine003's before heading to my buddies'.  I want a shot of our rides together, but he's mid-engine swap.  Next time Dave ;)

I should clarify that I'm in the middle of an engine swap and not doing a mid-engine drivetrain layout. ;)
