so thought it would update this thread
in the past few weeks the little m42 had a incontinence moment when the heater matrix pipe snapped then shortly after 6miles the heater matrix feed pipe of the head split open, it had just rotted away, but i spose on a 300k mile engine i will allow little moments like this, one day later it was fixed, i had my machinest make me a new stainless part i then threaded the head so it should never ever leak again, will have to do the same on the one forward of this as its not to happy either

also i had to reweld my exhaust yet again after some bad pot holed road most of it is now 5mm plate in the common scrape areas
other that shes been a beauty doing 180miles a week averaging around 45mpg as well
ive had the 6 studs on all round for a fair while now as well, and have wound down the ride height a little more as well

also had a adapter made up so i can fit my favorite steering wheel

have just come back from RRG 2013 weekend which was in excess off 300 mile round trip with lots of idling and she never missed a beat as expected, and after realising i have some money left this month have deiced to go drifting at wheels again just to make this month the best all year

thanks for reading mat

NICE! I had mine threaded too, but it's not barbed at the end like yours.

Good shit man. Glad you were able to get a fix, seems to be a common problem, for the life of me i couldnt find a fix, so i came up with my own solution.

Wish you posted this a week earlier  ;) ;D :P

So last Sunday i went along to my favorite drift venue were ive spent many a hour over the last 4 years, a small banger track called Birmingham wheels, heading down the the motorway sparks flying form underneath as the exhaust carried on getting thinner loaded full of fuel, tyres and hopes of driving my daily home that night, so we get there and set up, sign on and i stick my car in the cue, ready for some action and action i got

with a few hours of tyre shreading, chasing down cars with three times the price tag and powers is allways good fun, quickly it was dinner time and time to get ready for the comp, realising i had only one decent set of tyres left my hopes were pretty low of getting far, my first battle was pretty easy the guy spun both times so i didnt work hard, then up against Magic in his 2.8 e36, hopes high we set of him chasing me first all goes well i think, second run chasing him i get pretty close then come in to the top corner and a small straighten from me and my tyres going off letting him run away from me handed him the win, was very good fun chasing a quick guy, somebody even manged to get a video sweet

so good days drifting no damage other than, two engine mounts and some arch damage but 10 dead tyres, car smelling of rubber i head of home very happy
