Started to get fluid coming out of the waterpump, looked to be the original one and at 144,000 no big surprise that it was ready to be replaced. So, I'm thinking, this wont be too bad..4 bolts and the belt to deal with, and the waterpump is designed so that bolts can be turned into the body and basically back the pump out, like a built in puller. What a great idea...except that mine was frozen in place so bad that the built in puller didnt work, it actually broke. 4 bolts and a belt my ass....took half the day and eventually wound up breaking the pump into 3 pieces before it came out. the new one went in with no drama, thankfully. So, if anyone needs an easy way to get the pump out, dont ask me!!
