I've recently acquired a perfectly running 1993 e36 M42 engine that is set-up to run while hanging on my engine hoist. You can see it here:
http://youtu.be/4Tx2GxOj_mcThis has the complete, uncut engine bay wiring harness including the auto trans. control unit and associated wiring. I have considered using it to test plug and play components for those who have questioned their ecu's, sensors, coil packs, etc. for a small nominal fee TBD. After working through many difficult swaps, I believe such a service would be beneficial.
If anyone is interested please let me know.
I may be willing to sell it in the future; however it will also be used as a test bed/spare for my son's e30 318is turbo which continues to run w/o any problem (see the "Stock Header Turbo Build").
