dave, i called at 4ish today. sold. less than 24hrs.
anybody know who got this? looks like a good snag. plus the new owner has a cool wing to sell to someone else...

also - first drive in my 91 today. mostly good, a few issues, but it was fun.
oh and btw - i am getting to be a better guy to know - i bought a lift this week!

That was my story on every E30/318is I called about. Most were gone within hours.

My lift is being delivered tomorrow. I bought it used, but got a good deal on it...I hope.

i guess the bright side of it is that they are still out there for cheap. once everyone figures out that so many people want them the prices will start creaping up (and out of my price range...) What is funny is how so many other people swap out the m42 as soon as they get it! i wish they would just leave them for us, and get an old eta to swap...
i got a used western (older made in usa, all parts still available) 7000lb 2 post lift from a garage that was relocating.
the trick will be figuring out how to mount it in the second floor of my barn!

we managed to use the "1,2,3 lift" method for getting it into the truck. it is sitting in the bed of the truck now. when it comes time to install it i might need some help... of course help will be paid with adult beverages and free lift usage...
that somewhat uninformative message is near me (i think he means Blairsville) i am going to call and check today. i will let you all know
