WTB: Blaupunkt radio connections
« on: June 09, 2011, 01:19:05 PM »
I have a Blaupunkt Reno radio I want to install in my 91 318is. An aftermarket radio was installed (doesn't work now) and the factory radio connections were cut off.

I want to say the wires are: power, switched power, ground and the 4 speaker connections

Anybody have them?

You mean the stock e30 connectors?  The round plugs for the speakers & the square one for the power?  I might have a set around, though they are rare now that you mention it.  Everyone (self included) cuts them off.

I don't know what they look like, as I've never seen them in the car.

For my radio, here's a pix of the back. Since it came out my Porsche, the connections might be different?

I suppose if push came to shove, I could rig something up using the typical electrical connectors.
