hey how r u guys doing i was wondering if anybody new how to lock the doors on a 93 318is without using my elbow while driving or is there a diy for a button like the earlier models i am tierd of using my elbow by the way its a two door coupe

what do you mean using your elbow? so your door won't lock?

i mean that once i start driving my doors dont lock i dont know if there suposto but since like way in the back i dont like to try and reach it so i just found it easy that with my left elbow push the button then it will lock evrything  i am tierd of using that method

at least with the e30, there was never a feature that would lock the doors automatically when driving or a button to lock all of them. The most, if you have power door locks, was that if you push down on the driver door, it would lock all the doors. Same with opening. Not sure on the e36, but dont believe the driving and locking automatically was an option.

yup if u press the drivers door button it losck evrey thing butt its in an acward location to turn around and get it so i do it with my elbow i wonder if there is a diy on a button like the ealier e36 the ones that have the button to lock or unlock by the shifter

its not that hard to reach behind you and lock it unless your 300+ lbs and have short hand... i use my lock/unlock remote that came with the alarm.

well yeah i dont have alarm maybe i should just get one that when i start driving it locks by its self
