Radiators: Factory or upgrade?
« on: July 06, 2010, 10:22:48 PM »
Sprung a leak from my expansion tank, took a cue from tjts1, and picked up some rtv to seal it up with, but got me thinking about replacing mine. I have had 2 leaks from my current setup, and they sound somewhat prone to it.

Price on a mishimoto is $6 more than factory. I would need an overflow tank, but thats no biggie.

It'd be nice peace of mind when I'm thrashing the old girl on these 90+ F days.

Thoughts?

Also, who can source a price on a mishi for less than 236?

If I could figure out a place for an expansion tank I'd put a 325i unit in there.  Much bigger.
