Fuel system issue.
« on: February 21, 2010, 04:44:15 PM »
Ok. This is where it get humorous. I had a Fuel Pump relay issue. I replaced the relay. Two weeks later it popped again with the fuel pump. I recieved some helpful info from you guys her on this forum. One of the pieces of info was it could be the CPS. I couldn't figure out how that could be so I did some troubleshooting of my own and yup, that was a culprit as well. I have searched the net over and over to find a reasonably priced pump and CPS. I went to Advanced, and to Bavarian. BMP to Pelican. Nope, all the prices were on or about the 300 range. The CPS was about 150. So this afternoon when I was down at Advanced Auto, Buy some fuel additives for my Harley, I chatted with one of the employees who knows my car. My point is this. I purchased the Pump and CPS for 170. The pump was 87 or so and the CPS was 78. Man I hate second guessing myself. I asssumed I had gone over every approach. Apparently not. Well, she will be up and running just before I go to Wisconsin for 70 days. Thanks for reading. T. ;)
