passenger side black roof trim

My passenger roof trim peeled off my car and of course landed in front of a semi which crushed it. So I'm looking for a replacement.

Is the chrome the same as the black? If I go get the trim from a junk yard and paint it to match is it physically the same dimentions? Will any year e30 work?

Anyone here have a nice black one they want to sell?
