For Sale / CA: Dbilas ITB's
« on: July 24, 2012, 11:09:34 PM »
Putting a feeler out for my Dbilas ITB kit for the M42 cars. Idk if I want to sell, but I would rather put the money towards a real E30 M3. If you are looking at this ad, you know what I am selling. This is a ready to bolt on kit, that looks great, works great, and comes with 3 different tunes for different applications. Let me know if you're interested. Kit works great, sounds great, and I really enjoy the car with it. I just want the wide arches and a bigger engine. These retail for 1600 euros without the chip.

Asking $1,500.00

Engine + Driveline / M42 overheating

interesting. I was having this issue on the freeway, but I figured it was just because of the car having it's clutch fan removed.

Swaps, Turbos, Buildups / Pulling Engine: Tips or Tricks?

Awesome, I am glad to hear that they can be pulled as one unit. I really hate those top two Torx bolts...gotta futz around with 4' of extensions to get at them!

I'll have to look into a load leveler. What are the advantages of using one? Man, that sounds like it is probably a real noob question.

harbour freight or sears. They're good so you can pitch the front of the engine up or down whenever you please to have the correct angle to come out of the engine bay. Good investment.

Engine + Driveline / radiator rubber brackets, how to put on?

thanks, I checked beforehand. I checked the part numbers and they sent me 4 lower rubber mounts instead of two top/two bottom. Lol oops!

Swaps, Turbos, Buildups / M42 to S42?

I'm doing something similar, but good luck! Get ready for the expenses.. my ITB set alone with management alone cost 1200, and I still need to make the CF plenum.

Engine + Driveline / radiator rubber brackets, how to put on?
« on: April 10, 2012, 09:40:48 PM »
so I'm putting a new front end on the car, so basically I don't have any of the parts, but the top radiator bracket, can anyone look at their car, and see if the rubber is supposed to be attached to the black plastic? I'm looking at it, and I don't see how the rubber could possibly attach onto the plastic.

Thank you in advance! Apparently on the bottom of the radiator, I need some plastic supports? I'm in a rut! Thank you!
