Well when ever it rains heavy the boot is getting damp but I cant work out where the water is coming from. I have flushed out the drain holes for the sunroof and that didn't fix it. and it seams every E30 I have had is the same

I'm selling my 9lb flywheel I hate the noise's it makes at 2500 - 3500 RPMs.  But it does rev up really quick compared to the heavy stock unit.  Who wants to buy it?

How did you measure the current?  You have to measure it inline (break the circuit and the multimeter will complete it) you can't measure current with one lead on the + and one on the -.

800 milliamps sounds kind of high with the key off IMO

I’d say defiantly go with a 4.4l BMW V8.  It’s not really easier to install over a 5.0 ford motor but at least it’s still all BMW.

Well you have no idea what you are doing then cause those are the one's to take off to remove just the caliper and not the bracket.  And you didn’t say you wanted the bracket off also.

Look the caliper comes off with the hex bolt I've done it a million times.
