I currently have a few saab mechanics that I know keep an eye out for a te05-12b turbo. Worst case ill grab a t3 or something comparable. You have been a great help, I appreciate it!

I should be able to run a t3 turbo with no issues also as long as I use the Injectors from the 900. If I'm thinking correctly

I was thinking this was a drop in, but now thinking it may require some modding of the wire harness and or driveshaft, anyone have any info?

I know the maf will correct some. But according to him no tune is needed for low boost. Remember I'm shooting for around 5/6psi

So your car runs fine with that setup? No tune needed?

I am just looking for a slightly higher powered car than stock. Not looking for anything crazy just a fun Sunday car.  I'll look into this setup.

I currently have a 325i e30.  I have the chance to recieve a m42 for my car which in my understanding swaps directly in with little to no modifications.  With that said, I figured I would throw a quick turbo set up on it since since I have the resources. Only problem im running into is tuning.  I dont want to spend an arm and a leg on this project since its literally just something quick and for fun.  What do you guys use for tuning thats cost effective and reliable.  I know there are some stand alone tuners for around 1-2k but i was hoping to stay below that cost.
