WTB/WTT / WTB: m42 valve cover, AFM, airbox... etc.

Wanting to buy first and for most the Air flow meter as mine is shot, secondly a valve cover to experiment with. Also I would like a complete OEM air box with the headlight piece if available not a deal breaker if you don't have it. Please include shipping to 37013 with prices. thank you for your time. also my engine harness has an odd wiring if someone has a COMPLETELY unmolested wiring harness I would also like one of those labeled if anyone has one laying around. While I realize a labeled harness is asking a lot once again is not a deal breaker. also a great condition dash as my e30 was broken into 2 years ago and I would finally like to fix broken dash.

looking to purchase a m42 long block as long as its not locked up im cool with condition and miles as i plan to rebuild. I work at a euro shop so this wont be an issue. so im lookin to spend 3-5 hundred on the long block. so as long as it hasent slung a rod or spun a main im fine with the condition

looking for a m42 head can be bare as I will be fully rebuilding it. looking to pay around 75 bare and up to 200 complete.

well it sounds like your clutch bearings so id say that your list should cover it. by the way does the valeo clutch/fw kit come with a single mass flywheel. i put one in a 1.8t audi the other day that the kit was a direct bolt in replacement for the dual mass.

I am also curious about this as i have an m44 block and m42 head. i read on e30 zone that the m42 and m44 block are based on the m20 (correct me if im wrong) and says that any of the blocks could be used the repair any of the engines. im just worried about having to convert to that ANNOYING serp belt system on the newer m42/m44.

Has anyone don this? im in the process of doin an all out NA build and im going dry sump with external pump. I was just wondering if anybody has done this and if anyone knows of anyone making brackets to mount the external pump. i was thinking of getting rid of my ps pump and ac compressor and mounting the pump where the compressor once set. any help would be appreciated.

Interior / door lock issue

so heres what im lookin at. it has electronic locks and when i first bought the car i would lock it by using the trunk because the drivers door needs a new lock cylinder. anyway recently id go to use the locks and the passenger lock will go halfway down and pop back up. i try the passenger lock and i can barely turn it and the same thing on the drivers but like i had earlier stated the tumblers are worn. but ive been searching on here and cant find anything that matches my situation. help would be appreciated as some asshat broke into her already and  ripped the dash up stole the radio and worst of all my bone daddy bobble head:mad:

looking for an m42 engine dont care about the miles/ condition as long as there is no catastrophic damage ie cracked blocks/heads. throw me prices im looking at any price range right now. i just need a spare for my NA build. Also a getrag 240 in once again any condition that can at least be repaired. PM me if anyone has anything would like asap.

well i did a capacitive discharge the other day to see if clearing my faults would help anyting. it didnt but the car is running alot better. it only fluctuates for me when its cold now. but i did get a code back today 1221 which i think is for my 02 sensor so im gonna test it tommorrow and see if i need to replace it,
