WTB/WTT / WTB: Front Strut Housing Assemblies ASAP!
« on: November 04, 2011, 08:54:41 PM »
In need of both front strut housings for my E30. I need them ASAP and buying them new is out of the question ($600-$700 each). My original shocks are rusted into the strut housings making it almost impossible to replace my shocks...

Their are only a few E30's out here for parts and I'm planning on going out tomorrow to check them out (this being my plan B).

I am willing to make shipping my expense as long as I get them for a decent price.

LMK here or send me a PM.. I would like to have them before this coming Wednesday.

Shipped to Orlando, FL 32824

Suspension / New Suspension Setup!
« on: October 08, 2011, 05:03:28 PM »
Ok, so after some careful consideration and looking at a ton of different setups, I've decided on...

Ground Control coilovers with 500lb front SR & 700 rear SR
http://www.ground-control-store.com/products/description.php?II=121

Koni Sport shocks

(BMW 89-91 3 Series - E30 318iS-16V - Sport (Yellow))

I'm planning on a good DD setup but at the same time great for track use. Any feedback or advice would be appreciated!

Thanks

I found this thread over at BF...I have no firsthand experience though.

Some good stuff here too.

Thanks, that helps quite a bit.

I was also thinking of buying KSport coilovers but I haven't heard or seen any feedback from them...

Suspension / GroundControl Coilover Spring Rate Recomendations?
« on: October 08, 2011, 12:47:20 PM »
Hey all, I was hoping to get some advice on spring rates for the Coilover kits at Groundcontrol for my 318is. I want to pair them up with Bilstein sport shocks but I have no clue about what spring rate I should apply. Any suggestions or advice would be great!

Thanks
